Its Gothic Revival design evokes an era when distinctive rooflines, traditional materials, and handcrafted details gave houses a personality all their own. Inside, three fireplaces—located in the living room, great room, and dining room—preserve the traditional warmth and focal points of historic domestic life.
The main floor includes a primary suite and a large eat-in kitchen, while four additional bedrooms upstairs offer room for family, guests, or creative pursuits. A screened porch provides a sheltered place to enjoy the seasons, and the detached double carport adds practical convenience.
The house needs finishing touches, presenting an opportunity for a buyer to shape its future while respecting the character of its historic design. Set on nearly half an acre along one of Danville’s recognizable avenues, the property offers space and presence that are increasingly difficult to find in an older home.
Recently reduced to $310,000, this is an invitation to become the next steward of a rare Kentucky residence—to bring fresh purpose to a house with more than two centuries of history and preserve the character that makes it worth saving.
